A major accident has occurred in Uttarakhand on the day of Diwali. Here in Uttarkashi, information is coming out that 30 to 35 laborers are trapped inside the closed tunnel. NDRF and SDRF teams have reached the spot regarding this. As soon as information about the accident was received, Uttarkashi SP also reached the spot and is keeping an eye on the entire incident. Work is being done to open the tunnel as soon as possible so that the workers can be evacuated. According to the information, the tunnel started sinking while working in the morning. Due to the collapse of the tunnel, 30 to 35 laborers and other employees working inside it were trapped inside.
30 to 35 laborers feared trapped
The number of laborers working inside the tunnel is said to be around 174 as per the entry at night, but this number could be more than this. The incident is said to have taken place at 5:30 in the morning, but the information was received late. As of now, the number of employees and laborers trapped in the tunnel may be 30 to 35. According to the information available at present, everyone is said to be safe, but efforts are being made to take them out as soon as possible.
