Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has introduced the new Honda CB350 motorcycle, targeting buyers of the Royal Enfield Classic 350.
The new motorcycle is available in two variants, DLX and DLX Pro, priced at Rs 1,99,900 (ex-showroom) and Rs 2,17,800 (ex-showroom), respectively. It is sold exclusively through Honda’s premium Big Wing dealerships.
The Honda CB350 boasts a retro design with a new fuel tank, updated side panels, larger mudguards, shrouded telescopic front suspension, and a retro-themed exhaust. It comes in five colors: Precious Red Metallic, Pearl Igneous Black, Matte Crust Metallic, Matte Marshal Green Metallic, and Matte Dune Brown.
The top-spec version features Honda Smart Phone Voice Control System (HSVCS), Bluetooth Connectivity, Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC), dual channel ABS, all LED lighting, a part-analogue part-digital instrument cluster, and more.
Powered by the same 348.36cc, single-cylinder engine as the Honda CB350 H’ness and Honda CB350 RS motorcycles, it delivers 20.8bhp at 5,500rpm and 29.4Nm of torque at 3,000rpm, mated to a 5-speed gearbox with Slip & Assist clutch.
With decent hardware, including telescopic suspension at the front, nitrogen-filled shock absorbers at the rear, 310mm disc brake at the front, and 240mm disc brake at the rear, the Honda CB350 aims to attract potential Royal Enfield Classic 350 customers, especially considering its reliability and slightly lower price.
