Tech Mahindra, Tata Motors, Infosys, Wipro, Tata Steel, Tata Consultancy Services, Reliance Industries, and Axis Bank were the major gainers among the Sensex companies.
Stock markets remained bullish on Wednesday and BSE Sensex closed with a huge gain of 742. Amid the rise in global markets, domestic markets gained momentum with favorable inflation data in America.

Due to encouraging reports regarding inflation in America, the possibility of the Central Bank Federal Reserve not increasing the policy rate further has increased. BSE Sensex based on 30 shares jumped 742.06 points or 1.14 percent to close at 65,675.93 points.

During trading, it had climbed up to 813.78 points at one point. National Stock Exchange (NSE) Nifty also closed at 19,675.45 points, up 231.90 points or 1.19 percent.

Top Gainers

Tech Mahindra, Tata Motors, Infosys, Wipro, Tata Steel, Tata Consultancy Services, Reliance Industries, and Axis Bank were the major gainers among the Sensex companies.

Top Losers

Loss-making stocks include Bajaj Finance, IndusInd Bank, and Power Grid.

Meanwhile, global oil benchmark Brent crude was trading 0.78 percent lower at $81.83 per barrel.
