Stock Market Closed with Gains
The Indian stock market was seen trading with gains on Tuesday afternoon. BSE Sensex rose by 266 points and closed at 65921 points while Nifty rose by 88 points and closed at the level of 19782 points. On Tuesday, a slight rise was recorded in Nifty Midcap 100 and BSE Small Cap, while Nifty IT closed on a slight weakness, a slight rise was also recorded in Nifty Bank.
The stock market registered a rise on Tuesday due to buying by foreign investors. However, stock market experts say that corrections can be seen in the market due to the indifference of foreign investors. Talking about the top gainers of the stock market, the shares of SBI Life, HDFC Life, Adani Enterprises, and JSW Steel registered a rise while the shares of Coal India Limited, ONGC, BPCL, and LTI Mind Tree registered weakness.
