SEBI has banned Mohammad Naseeruddin Ansari from trading in the stock market and has also ordered the confiscation of about Rs 17.2 crore.
According to the information received from SEBI, he used to call himself ‘Baap of Chart’ on social media. It used to give its suggestions regarding shares and advised investors to invest in the stock market by promising huge profits. SEBI found in its investigation that from January 1, 2021, to July 7, 2023, it had incurred a trading loss of Rs 2.89 crore whereas it claimed that it had made a profit of 20 to 30 percent.
