The festival of Vijayadashami is being celebrated with great enthusiasm across the country. Prime Minister Narendra Modi performed Ravana Dahan at Ramlila Maidan in Dwarka Sector 10. On this occasion, our Prime Minister greeted the entire country. During this, he said that this time we are celebrating Vijayadashami when it has been 2 months since our victory over the Moon.
On this occasion, Modi said that the next Ram Navami will be celebrated in the grand Ramlala temple of Ayodhya. Lord Shri Ram is going to reside in Ayodhya. And today we are seeing this grandest temple being built. He said that we have to keep in mind that today the burning of Ravana should not just be burning of effigy. This should be the burning of every distortion which spoils the mutual harmony of the society. This should be the burning of those forces who try to divide Mother India in the name of casteism and regionalism. This should be the burning of those ideas which do not involve the development of India but the fulfillment of selfishness.
