The havoc of pollution is increasing in Delhi, and the air here has become completely bad. Delhi’s Aam Aadmi Party has blamed Haryana for Delhi’s bad air. At the same time, today Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal called a high-level meeting at the Delhi Secretariat at 12 noon regarding pollution, in which 3 major decisions were taken by the Delhi Government regarding pollution –

  • All schools closed in Delhi till 10th November except 10th and 12th.
  • After Diwali, odd-even will be implemented in Delhi for a week.
  • Odd-even will be applicable in Delhi from 13 to 20 November.

Who is responsible for Poisonous Delhi?

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Monday sought to blame Haryana for the pollution crisis in Delhi-NCR. Party’s national spokesperson Priyanka Kakkar demanded a review of the steps taken by the Manohar Lal Khattar government since 2014 to curb pollution.

While giving a press conference, Priyanka Kakkar said that Punjab is 500 kilometers away from Delhi. At the same time, Haryana is only 100 kilometers away, hence the air quality of Delhi has deteriorated due to the burning of stubble in Haryana. He said, “There should be a review of the anti-pollution measures taken by the Khattar government in Haryana since 2014.
