Her Wikipedia profile says Mira Murati was born in 1988 in Vlorë, Albania to Albanian parents. At the age of 16, she left Albania to attend Pearson College UWC, the United World College situated on Vancouver Island, Canada, from which she graduated with an International Baccalaureate diploma in 2007.
