Manual drilling work is going on rapidly in Uttarkashi tunnel, only 5-6 meters of digging is left

41 laborers are trapped in the tunnel of Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand for 17 days and today i.e. on the 18th day, good news has been received from the rescue operation. The distance between the 41 laborers trapped in the tunnel and the rescue operation team seems to be decreasing and now this distance is only 5-6 meters. According to the team, there is no possibility of any further hindrance in the manual digging of the tunnel. The micro tunnel expert himself has said that drilling has been done for the entire 50 meters and this in itself is a big achievement. He is also very positive about the remaining 5-6 metres.

PM Modi appealed for prayers for the workers
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has appealed to pray for the workers trapped in the tunnel of Uttarkashi, while manual drilling workers are also doing their work at a fast pace. In Telangana, PM Modi said, “Today when we are praying to the Gods and Goddesses. If we are talking about the welfare of humanity, then we also have to include in our prayers those labor brothers who are stuck in a tunnel in Uttarakhand for the last two weeks.
