Mahua Moitra – The TMC MP is left alone to defend herself by the party. On the issue of her sharing the Login id with a Dubai based businessman and also asking questions taking money and gifts to help a businessman. She has also posted on X (twitter) that she will fight herself against the targeted scheme of ruling party and no-one would come to help her.
Allegation of sharing login id password was accepted by Mahua Moitra in a recent interview however she has her explanations. Today she was present before the Ethics Committee; however what happened later is unprecedented. She was seen getting out of the hearing, very angry and seen shouting. Later she alleged that she was asked personal questions and being a women she felt the queries were “undignified”. The issue is a kind of un-precedented in Lok Sabha wherein the charges on the TMC MP are of severe nature.
The MP is left to defend herself and apart from a few social media followers, she is hardly getting any support. Today’s adventure where she is accused of abusing and shouting over the Ethics Committee will also be taken on record. The political career of the Lok Sabha MP is under serious trouble, and criminal charges of breach of trust, fraud and even national security can be advised by the Ethics committee, if she fails to answer the questions satisfactorily.
