Pakistan Caretaker government hits the Pakistanis with an approval for a MASSIVE increase in gas prices of up to 193%. Cement manufacturers will face 193 % hike in gas prices while domestic consumers by 172%.
Pakistanis are already in depression due to ever rising inflation and lack of day to day essentials. This will be another blow to the common man who is already facing issues in managing their daily life. Losing cricket matches one after another in the ongoing World Cup is a heart break for cricket obsessed nation and further increase in Gas price is another shocker from the government.
Pak’s inflation has risen to historic 31.4% and the shortage of wheat flour and vegetables is making life hard for the Pakistanis. IMF bailout is still in waiting and most of the friendly countries have refused to help Pakistan any more. Each government is running with a begging bowl and the ex Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has mentioned in one of the interviews that he is ashamed of begging, but has no option.
