49th CENTURY FOR VIRAT KOLHI SURPASSES SACHIN TENDULKAR RECORD

Kolkata: Virat Kohli scored his 49th century to surpass record of Sachin Tendulkar playing against South Africa today, he took 119 balls to reach the milestone. Fans were waiting for this century for a long time. He has missed to score the century in last 2 matches, finally broke the world record today. Giving his fans the gift, on his birthday, loud cheers were all around the stadium as soon as he took the single to reach the milestone. He took 277 innings to make 49 centuries highest in the world, as against Sachin Tendulkar 452 innings.

On a turning track, where scoring was not easy, Kohli worked hard and played grounded shots during his innings. He has not scored any sixes during his century innings
