Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) state president Nafe Singh Rathi was shot dead by unknown people on Sunday. He was a former MLA of Bahadurgarh.
He was elected MLA twice from this seat. Apart from this, he was also the chairman of Bahadurgarh Municipal Council twice. He was the President of All India Indian Style Wrestling Association. Apart from this, he was also the former President of Haryana MLA Association.
In the last tweet that Nafe Singh Rathi had made on social media, he had talked about his resolve for the development of Bahadurgarh. He had written, "With the determination we have taken, we will rejuvenate Bahadurgarh." However, two days later, he was shot dead in broad daylight.
Haryana Police had registered a case against Nafe Singh Rathi and five others in connection with the suicide of a BJP leader. A case was registered against Rathi under section 306 (abetment of suicide) of the IPC in connection with the suicide of Jagdish Numberdar, son of former minister Mange Ram Numberdar.
The opposition Aam Aadmi Party has attacked the BJP-led Manohar Lal Khattar government in the Nafe Singh murder case. AAP leader Sushil Gupta said that Nafe Singh and his associates were shot dead. No one can feel safe in Haryana. Businessmen are being murdered, politicians are being shot on the streets and farmers are being fired upon.
Is there rule of law left in the state and then the CM will be busy holding election rallies? The rule of law has ended in Haryana, jungle raj is going on. If the state president of a party is not safe in the district where the Chief Minister of the state is, then the safety of the general public cannot be imagined.
