HPCL Results Declared: in Profit Unlike Last Year

Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited reported a profit of Rs 5826.96 crore in 2nd Quarter

The profits beat the Bloomberg estimate of Rs 2990.30 crore.

But the net profit declined 14% from the June quarter.

The decline was majorly because of the gain in crude oil prices since July.

The shares of HPCL closed at Rs 262.05 on BSE today.
