BSF 'Retaliated in Befitting Manner' after Mortar fire by Pakistan

BSF gave a detailed account of unprovoked firing at Indo-Pak Border at around 10 pm Thursday

Pakistan troops started mortar firing at border outposts and civiian areas.

Some shells landed in Arnia resulting in house damage and minor injuries.

Pak Rangers used machine gun firing at around 10:40 pm leading to fire exchange between the troops.

This triggered panic among the civilians in the area. Mortar shells were found in the Bulleh Chak village.
